Wild Ethereal

An American Indian, a hippie, or a cowgirl – these three aesthetic directions best define Wild Ethereal’s fashion. This style is eclectic to some extent. However, we should bear in mind that most of the compositions described as boho, gypsy, or hippie contain elements of other Ethereals. Most often, they have a pinch of the Slavic, Mermaid, and Wind Ethereals. Many outfits also include details from the French, Fairytale, Royal, or even Star Ethereal. The outfits that are Ethereal hybrids cannot be called only Wild. They are a mixture of different Ethereals with the dominance of the Wild Ethereal style.

The Wild style can be divided into three variants. Each of them is related to specific guidelines for three Natural group types. The most distinctive, quite heavy visually, and rich in decorative details is Wild-Flamboyant Natural. Wild-Natural is calm and subdued. On the other hand, Wild-Soft Natural is a more delicate and feminine version.

Wild Ethereal is connected to boho, ethnic and eclectic styles. Fabrics specific to this Ethereal are suede, leather, cotton, wool, linen; in other words, natural fabrics. The recommended outfit details are fringe, cowboy boots, decorative lacing, cowboy hats, raw trims in clothes, and a fair amount of jewelry. The appropriate patterns are all ethnic patterns, such as paisley or Aztec. A chequered pattern is also allowed, as long as it looks „blurred” (low-contrast). You can wear animal prints, but they cannot be dominant in an outfit. It is fine to mix patterns but keep in mind that the overall styling needs to be toned down in terms of color.

The most suitable jewelry will be based on natural fabrics and materials, like wood and leather. Its decorative elements include feathers, wooden beads, and unpolished gems (e.g., amber). Metal components should be burnished or patinated.

The best hairstyle for Wild Ethereal is very long, loose hair.

Wild Ethereal achieves the highest degree of compatibility with the Flamboyant Natural style guidelines. One step below that is the Natural type. In the third position – Soft Natural.

Wild Ethereal often appears as an additional element in Flamboyant Gamine women. In this case, the style should be modified not to lose the lines of the figure too much. Decorative elements should be miniaturized (depending on the height). And most importantly – within one outfit, the Wild Ethereal style cannot be the one clearly leading. Small, colorful Aztec patterns, which are actually both Wild and Sparkly, are also a perfect proposition for the Flamboyant Gamine type.

When Wild Ethereal appears alongside the Classic type, we break the pure classic style with elements of the Natural type guidelines. In such a case, we can talk about the Classic style with a Natural direction. In practice, this means introducing more knitwear, looser things, commonly considered casual and comfortable. The mix of Classic and Natural also allows for wearing clothes that hide the waist. It has a particular advantage in the event of an elevated BMI.

Ralph Lauren’s fashion designs are also worth mentioning. Most often, they are a combination of the Wild and the French. These inspirations will be appropriate for Classic and Dramatic Classic women who have Wild Ethereal. However, elements of French Ethereal must dominate the Dramatic Classic outfits.

The individual style elements should be adapted to the beauty features and the entire Ethereal configuration.

Wild – and all other Ethereals – can function as an independent element that makes up our type of beauty. In such a case, we are talking about the Ethereal type of beauty. We omit Kibbe typology and classic color analysis.
